Teen Homeschool Theatre Class, Fall 2026 - Wednesday Session

Ages 13-18

This class develops more complex theatrical skills while nurturing leadership, teamwork and personal commitment as students come together to bring a live theatrical show to the NarroWay stage.

Students engage in two performances of the full-length Christmas musical, "Yes, Virginia"

Class Information:

• Engage in an educational musical theatre course.
• Ages 13-18.
• Classes meet on Wednesdays, 1pm - 4pm August 26 thru November 18.
• An additional rehearsal is set for Sunday, November 22, 5pm-8pm.
• Class experience culminates with two performances of the musical "Yes, Virginia." Performance times are at 2pm and 7pm on November 25. Students will arrive by 10am and be onsite all day. Please bring a sack lunch. Supper will be provided.
• Course fee of $220 includes full semester instruction and cast t-shirt.

Class Schedule:

• Aug. 26, Wednesday, 1pm - 4pm; First class meeting.
• Nov. 22, Sunday, 5pm-8pm. REHEARSAL.
• Nov. 25, Wednesday, 10am-9pm. PERFORMANCE DAY.

Performance Information

Step back to the late 1800s and join young Virginia on an unforgettable quest to discover the true meaning of Christmas. While inspired by the real-life story of 8-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon and her famous 1897 letter to the New York Sun, this show takes a different twist as Virginia seeks to prove the real meaning of Christmas. Follow Virginia, a witty news reporter, and a lively group of newsies in this heartwarming musical.
